Σύμφωνα με την CENTCOM, έχουν ενημερωθεί και άλλα συμμαχικά πλοία που πλέουν στην περιοχή. Θυμίζουμε ότι πριν λίγες μέρες ιρανικά drones είχε καταρρίψει και γαλλική φρεγάτα. Πάντως είναι η πρώτη φορά που δυτικό πλοίο δέχεται επίθεση κορεσμού, που προφανώς θα είναι το νέο ζοφερό μέλλον του ναυτικού πολέμου. Υπενθυμίζουμε πως τα Arleigh Burke είναι αρκετά ισχυρά ώστε να μπορούν να πλέουν αυτόνομα χωρίς ανάγκη συνοδείας.
