Η πρώτη κοινή άσκηση εναέριου ανεφοδιασμού μεταξύ της Αμερικανικής Αεροπορίας και της Αεροπορίας του Κατάρ ολοκληρώθηκε πριν λίγες μέρες (στις 28 Δεκεμβρίου). Στην άσκηση συμμετείχαν καταριανά Rafale και αμερικανικά KC-135 Stratotanker της 340ης Μοίρας Ανεφοδιασμού, τα οποία σταθμεύουν μόνιμα στην βάση Al Udeid στο Κατάρ, για να υποστηρίζουν αποστολές στη Μέση Ανατολή.
