Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met on Friday with US Senate’s Foreign Relations Committee Chair Ben Cardin and earlier in the day with committee member Senator Chris Van Hollen, on the sidelines of the 60th Security Conference of Munich.

According to government sources, the prime minister referred to the historically high level of Greek-American relations, which were confirmed recently by a letter by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken to Mitsotakis, and by the 5th Round of Greece-US Strategic Dialog, which concluded a few days ago in Washington and expands bilateral collaboration.

They also discussed the latest developments in the East Mediterranean, the Middle East, and Ukraine, sources added.
