Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias met earlier on Monday in Cairo with his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry. The two officials discussed the good and multi-faceted relations between Greece and Egypt, as well as recent regional developments following the positive impact of the Philia Forum, the foreign ministry posted on Twitter:

Earlier, Dendias met with the Secretary General of the Arab League, Ahmed Abul Gheit. The meeting focused on the recent developments in the wider region. Later, Dendias will visit Cyprus and meet with his Cypriot counterpart Nikos Christodoulides.
