The Greek-South Korean Joint Ministerial Committee on Economic Cooperation will convene on Thursday in Athens, chaired by Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy Kostas Fragogiannis and his South Korean counterpart Kang Jae-kwon.
It is the fourth meeting of the Committee, which offers the two countries an opportunity to reaffirm the high level of their bilateral relations and further enhance economic cooperation in fields of mutual interest.
The agenda of the committee’s meeting includes the following subjects:
- Science and information and communication technologies
- Shipping, shipbuilding and infrastructure
- Energy, environmental protection and climate
- Agriculture
- Culture and social policy
- Tourism and air transport
In the context of the meeting, Enterprise Greece will sign a Memorandum of Understanding with its counterpart South Korean organization for promoting foreign trade and investment, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), to increase cooperation in investment activities, create networking opportunities and boost collaboration between the two countries’ entrepreneurial communities.
