Bilateral defence relations between Greece and Lithuania and the security situation in the broader region dominated a meeting on Friday between the national defence ministers of the two countries, Nikos Dendias and Arvydas Anušauskas, respectively.
Dendias wrote on his personal account at “X”:
“At today’s cordial welcome and meeting with the defence minister of Lithuania, Arvydas Anušauskas, we had the opportunity to discuss among other things, the following:
– Further enhancement of our defence relations, both at bilateral level and within the EU and NATO.
– The latest developments regarding the security situation in our broader region
– Lithuania’s participation in the Hellenic Defence Innovation Ecosystem.”
