Greek Ambassador to North Macedonia Sophia Philippidou met President of North Macedonia Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova on Tuesday.
According to a statement from the Presidency of North Macedonia, the meeting focused on the bilateral relations between the two countries, exploring opportunities to enhance cooperation and build good neighborly relations based on mutual trust and understanding.
President Siljanovska expressed her expectation for Greece’s support in North Macedonia’s European integration aspirations.
According to Presidency of North Macedonia, the discussion also covered the Prespa Agreement and its implementation. Siljanovska emphasized the importance of consistent adherence to the agreement by all parties involved.
Additionally, Siljanovska reaffirmed her commitment to further developing the partnership and genuine friendship with Greece, highlighting the importance of strengthening economic cooperation, trade exchanges, infrastructure connectivity and collaboration in education, culture, and tourism.
