The “USS Gerald Ford” aircraft carrier arrived on Tuesday at the port of Souda, Crete.
The air carrier has also visited Souda on 2 December 2023.
Displacing about 100,000 tons when fully loaded, the Nimitz-class carrier “USS Gerald Ford”  can steam in excess of 30 knots (56 km/h; 35 mph), cruise without major resupply for 90 days, and launch aircraft to strike targets hundreds of miles away.
