The Deputy Minister of National Defence, Mr. Athanasios Davakis, visited the premises of INTRACOM DEFENSE (IDE), on Monday, May 25th. The Deputy Minister and his delegation were welcomed by IDE’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Georgios Troullinos, along with senior company executives.

    During the visit, IDE presented its advanced defense technologies, that the company designs, develops, and manufactures to address the needs of the Hellenic Armed Forces and international customers, focusing on tactical communications, hybrid electric power systems, unmanned systems and missile electronics. Emphasis was placed on IDE’s participation in major national, European and international defense programs, as well as on the establishment of strategic partnerships with leading organizations in the global defense industry.

    The Deputy Minister was guided around IDE’s design and manufacturing facilities, including its laboratory infrastructure and the newly established state-of-the-art electronic circuit assembly line. This investment highlights the company’s ongoing commitment to innovation and technological excellence.

    The visit further underscored IDE’s contribution to the development of a strong and self-reliant domestic defense ecosystem through the advancement of Greek technological expertise, the creation of highly specialized employment opportunities and the strengthening of domestic industrial production.
