Στα τέλη Φεβρουαρίου έγινε στη Μεσόγειο μια κοινή άσκηση SEALS με ελληνικές ειδικές δυνάμεις, με τη συμμετοχή του υποβρυχίου βαλλιστικών πυραύλων USS Florida, κλάσης Ohio. Στις σχετικές φωτό φαίνονται να μετέχουν και τα ελληνικά σκάφη ανορθόδοξου πολέμου Mk V της Διοίκησης Υποβρυχίων Καταστροφών όπως και φουσκωτά.
Στην άσκηση έγινε προσέγγιση του υποβρυχίου στην επιφάνεια, καταρρίχηση από Osprey V-22 κ.α. Στο υποβρύχιο διακρίνεται το module DDS (η εξτρά κυλινδρική δομή), που χρησιμοποιείται για την σε κατάδυση ανάπτυξη ειδικών δυνάμεων και των μίνι υποβρυχίων που χρησιμοποιούν, τα οποία είναι αποθηκευμένα στο εσωτερικό του.
