Greece welcomes ceasefire agreement in Libya

Greece welcomed Friday’s announcement of an UN-mediated ceasefire agreement signed by Libya’s warring parties, with a post on social media.
On Twitter, the Foreign Affairs Ministry wrote in English: “Greece welcomes tοdαy’s announcement of a permanent ceasefire in Libya that will hopefully lead to a political solution of the crisis. We call on all parties to faithfully implement the agreement to ensure peace and stability for the benefit of the people of Libya and the broader region.”
