Greek Foreign Affairs Minister George Gerapetritis met on Monday with his counterpart of North Macedonia, Timčo Mucunski.
The meeting was held at the offices of Greece’s Permanent Mission in the United Nations, on the sidelines of the 79th UN General Assembly meeting.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral, cross-border, and regional collaboration issues, while Gerapetritis underlined that the positive outcome of the European prospect of all Western Balkan countries – including that of North Macedonia – is dependent on the fulfilment of obligations emanating from the EU acquis and international law, which include the adherence to international agreements such as the Prespa Agreement and the maintenance of good-neighborly relations.
