Greek National Defense Minister Nikos Dendias underlined the importance of the European Defense Industrial Strategy during his intervention at the informal EU Council of Defense Ministers on Wednesday.
Specifically, in a post on X (former Twitter), Dendias said, “At my intervention today at the Informal Meeting of EU Defence Ministers, I underlined the importance of the European Defence Industrial Strategy to the EU’s readiness to respond to the current and future demands of its defense. I also highlighted that all EU’s defense initiatives should be fully in line with member-states’ security and defense interests.”
Earlier, Dendias posted that he had “a warm discussion” with the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, in the margins of the Council meeting.
