Eleven Greek citizens and members of their families arrived in Larnaca on a chartered flight from the Republic of Cyprus with the assistance of the Embassies of Greece and Cyprus in Beirut, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a post on Twitter on Saturday.
“With the assistance of our Embassy in Nicosia and under the coordination of the Crisis Management Unit of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, six of them were repatriated to Greece today,” according to the ministry.
“We would like to thank the Republic of Cyprus for the support and immediate response,” the Greek foreign ministry added.
