A Russian citizen was arrested in Mytilini on Sunday for facilitating illegal entry to Greece of non-EU citizens and violation of the law on foreigners.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the detainee piloted a boat that departed from the Turkish coast with 18 passengers, mostly from African nations, and facilitated their transport to Lesvos island.
