Defence Minister Nikos Dendias on Wednesday sent a message to Albania to respect the European acquis in its course toward EU accession.
Dendias sent the above message from the city of Ioannina, where he represented the government in the commemoration events for the 111th anniversary of Ioannina’s liberation from Ottoman Rule.
In his statement, Dendias noted that “Greece is a country that steadily supports the European perspective of the Western Balkans” and sent the following message to Albania:
“I also refer to neighbouring Albania, which must always comply with the European acquis in its effort to join the European family”.
